Job Title: Assisted Living CNA

Job Description: We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Assisted Living CNA to join our healthcare team. As an Assisted Living CNA, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality care and support to residents in an assisted living environment. Your primary responsibilities will include assisting residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), ensuring their comfort, and promoting their overall well-being.

As an Assisted Living CNA, you will work closely with nurses and other healthcare professionals to monitor and address residents’ health needs. You will also provide companionship and emotional support to enhance the quality of life for residents. Your role will require a strong sense of empathy, patience, and a commitment to delivering exceptional care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist residents with ADLs such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility.

• Provide support with meal preparation and feeding as needed.

• Monitor and report changes in residents’ health conditions to nursing staff.

• Assist with medication reminders under the direction of licensed personnel.

• Maintain a clean and safe living environment for residents.

• Engage residents in social activities and provide companionship.

• Help residents transfer to and from wheelchairs, beds, and other seating arrangements.

• Record and maintain accurate documentation of care provided.

• Communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare team members.

• Follow infection control and safety procedures to ensure a healthy environment.

• Respond promptly to residents' calls for assistance.

• Uphold residents’ dignity, privacy, and independence at all times.

Requirements and Qualifications:

• Valid Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification.

• Previous experience in an assisted living facility or similar healthcare setting preferred.

• Knowledge of basic nursing and personal care techniques.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

• Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment.

• Compassionate, patient, and dedicated to resident care.

• Ability to handle physically demanding tasks, including lifting and transferring residents.

• Basic understanding of medical terminology and health monitoring.

• Ability to follow care plans and comply with healthcare regulations.

• CPR and First Aid certification preferred.

• Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
