Clinical Care Technician (CCT) Medical -Surgical Unit-II Per Diem Evening

Job Overview:

The Clinical Care Technician functions under the direct supervision of a professional nurse. He/she performs specific duties and is considered an integral part of the nursing team. He/she will assist the nurse in gathering information and making observations regarding the patient s condition. In this role, you will work under the direction of the RN to provide care to the patients on the unit. Some of the responsibilities include but are not limited to: Taking vital signs, EKGS, performing phlebotomy, assisting or providing patients with bedside care, i.e. bathing, mouth care, skin care.

Qualifications:

Required:

• High School Diploma
• BLS Certification through American Heart Association only
• Enrolled in a Nursing Program, current EMT certification, Medical Assistant Certified, Phlebotomist Certified, EKG tech or equivalent

Certifications and Licenses:

• BLS certification through American Heart Association

Scheduling Requirements:

• Evenings, 3p-11p
• Schedule during the week will vary depending on department needs
• Per-Diem
• Mandatory Orientation

Pay Range:

$21.00 to $26.00 Hourly Rate
