We are looking for a dedicated and empathetic individual to join our team as a Clare Bridge Caregiver. This role is integral to supporting individuals with Alzheimer's or other forms of dementia, helping them maintain their dignity, safety, and well-being in a caring and structured environment. As a Clare Bridge Caregiver, you will make a meaningful difference by providing personalized care and fostering a sense of belonging for residents.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver compassionate care tailored to the unique needs of residents in the Clare Bridge program.

• Assist residents with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting, while respecting their independence and preferences.

• Provide emotional support and companionship, engaging residents in conversations and recreational activities designed to stimulate cognitive and physical abilities.

• Implement Clare Bridge programming, which includes structured routines and therapeutic activities designed to enhance the quality of life for residents with dementia.

• Ensure the safety and well-being of residents by monitoring their physical and emotional conditions, and promptly reporting any changes to the appropriate team members.

• Administer medications as directed, following detailed care plans and maintaining accurate documentation.

• Assist with meal preparation, serving, and feeding, ensuring residents receive proper nutrition in a supportive environment.

• Maintain a clean and organized environment by performing light housekeeping tasks, including tidying common areas and residents' rooms.

• Collaborate with team members and families to deliver exceptional care and create a supportive community for residents.

Requirements and Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.

• Previous experience in caregiving, particularly with individuals who have Alzheimer's or dementia, is highly preferred.

• A compassionate and patient demeanor, with a genuine passion for working with individuals with dementia.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to interact effectively with residents, families, and team members.

• Physical stamina and the ability to assist residents with mobility, transfers, and other caregiving tasks.

• Knowledge of dementia care principles and safety protocols is a strong asset.

• CPR and First Aid certifications (or willingness to obtain upon hire) are highly desirable.

• Adaptability to meet the evolving needs of residents in the program.

• A positive and empathetic attitude to support residents in a compassionate and understanding manner.
